Official Rules and Regulations

"Contest Sponsor" as referred to herein, means KitchenAid Canada. Golda's Kitchen Inc. is not responsible for the conduct of this contest nor the awarding of any prizes in relation thereto.

How to Participate

No purchase necessary. One entry per person.

The Kitchens for Cooks Artisan® Series® Stand Mixer Contest starts on Saturday November 5, 2005 at 12:01 AM EST. To be eligible, contest entry forms must be received by Sunday December 4, 2005 at 11:59 PM EST ("Contest Closing Date") or will be void.

To enter the Kitchens for Cooks Artisan® Series® Stand Mixer Contest, go to kitchensforcooks.ca, click on "Contact Us" and email the Kitchens for Cooks Institute with your entry. Include the words "Golda's WIN" in the subject line and in the body of the email include your name, address and telephone number, as well as the line, "I have read the Official Rules in Golda's newsletter." Incomplete or late entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Whirlpool Canada LP and none shall be returned. Whirlpool Canada LP or any of its promotional agencies associated with this Contest is not responsible for incomplete, lost, stolen, late, damaged, illegible, or misdirected entries.

Eligibility

The Kitchens for Cooks Artisan® Series® Stand Mixer Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada who are residing in Canada and who have reached the age of majority in their province of residence at the time of this Contest. Contest excludes residents of Quebec.

Builders, contractors, appliance dealers or employees of Whirlpool Canada LP, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent or related companies, its advertising or promotional agencies, or members of their respective families living in the same household are not eligible to participate in this Contest.

By entering the contest, entrants agree to abide by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges with respect to all aspects of the Contest, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Contest.

Prize Details

There will be one Prize awarded consisting of a new KitchenAid® Artisan® Series® Stand Mixer, Model #4KSM15OPS- Choice of: White, WH; Metallic Chrome, MC; Black, OB). Value $449 - $479 MSRP, depending on colour chosen (the "Prize"). Prize includes delivery of the stand mixer to one Canadian location.

Prizes must be accepted as awarded. No Prize substitutions will be made, except for the right of the Contest Sponsor to make a Prize substitution of equivalent or greater value in the event that a Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond the Contest Sponsor's control. The Prize may not be transferred, assigned or redeemed for cash.

How to Win

Contest Draw

A random draw will be made by an independent judging organization in Toronto, Ontario, on or about 10:00 a.m. EST on December 12, 2005 (the "Selection Date"), from all eligible entries received on or before Contest Closing Date. In order to win, the selected entrant must first correctly answer unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question to be administered by telephone at a pre-arranged, mutually convenient time. Seven (7) attempts will be made to contact the entrant selected as eligible for the Prize at the telephone number or e-mail address on their Entry Form between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM EST. If an entrant cannot be contacted within 21 days from the Selection Date, he or she is no longer eligible to win and another entrant will be randomly selected and the process of contacting the new entrant will be repeated. No communication will be entered into except with the selected entrant who will be notified by telephone or mail. By entering this Contest, Entrants consent to the use of their name, city and province, photograph, voice and/or image, without compensation, in any future publicity, including Internet publicity, carried out in any media by the Contest Sponsor in connection with this Contest, where permitted by law.

The decision of the independent judging organization is final. The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received via the internet.

General Rules

Selected entrant will be required to sign a standard declaration and release form confirming compliance with the Official Rules, acceptance of the Prize as awarded and releasing Whirlpool Canada LP, its affiliates, subsidiaries, parent and related companies, advertising and promotional agencies and all of their respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, representatives, successors and assigns, from any liability respecting the acceptance of the Prize. The declaration must be completed and returned within fourteen (14) days upon receipt.

By accepting a Prize, the Prize winners agree to hold Whirlpool Canada LP, their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies, harmless from and against any and all claims and liability arising out of or in any way connected with the operation of this Contest and use of the Prize. The Prize winner assumes all liability for any injury or damage caused, or claimed to be caused, by participation in this Contest or use or redemption of the Prize. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree to be bound by the Official Rules and Regulations.

Whirlpool Canada LP or any of its promotional agencies associated with this Contest is not responsible for any failure of the Web site during the Contest Date, for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Contest Sponsor on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Web site, or any combination thereof including any injury or damage to an entrant's or any other person's computer related to or resulting from playing or down loading any material in the promotion. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this Contest for any reason, without notice, including but not limited to a virus, bug or other cause beyond the reasonable control of the Contest Sponsor corrupting the security or proper administration of the Contest.

Contest Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any individual that it finds to be violating these Official Rules, tampering with the entry process or tampering with the operation of the web site. Contest Sponsor reserves the right to refuse an entry from a person whose eligibility is in question or who has been disqualified or is otherwise ineligible to enter. Any attempt by anyone to deliberately alter or damage this Web site and/or to undermine the legitimate operation of this promotion is in violation of criminal and civil laws and Whirlpool Canada LP reserves the right to seek damages or other legal remedy to the fullest extent permitted by law, including criminal prosecution.

The Contest Sponsor, their affiliates and respective advertising and promotions agencies are not responsible for printing, distribution or production errors.

This Contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws.
