Create beautiful cakes decorated with fresh flowers in just minutes with the cake vase. The vase keeps flowers and greenery fresh and keeps them safely away from the cake. Place the cake vase plate -- a round plastic piece with pointy-bottomed indentations -- on top of a cake, pressing firmly into the frosting. Pour water into the vase, filling to the top of the holes. Trim flower stems to the desired length and arrange in the holes. The flowers never touch the cake and stay fresh, as they are in water. For a fabulous last-minute cake, use a store-bought bakery cake and fresh flower bouquet and cut and arrange the flowers in the cake vase. Also great for arranging fresh or gumpaste flowers in advance, and then quickly positioning on a cake. Use one of the cake vase plates to cover the top of any round or sheet cake, or use the ring when a cake topper or candles will be placed atop the cake in the centre of the flowers.
