This multi-functional grill incorporates an unique hinged design that allows the heating plate to be positioned at two different angles. Open the grill a full 180º to create a large (20"L × 12"W), temperature-controlled warming or cooking platform. The hinged lid has a hands-free stop so it can also be opened to 90º for a 12"L × 10"W grilling surface for panini or other gourmet sandwiches. The grill's reversible non-stick cooking plates have embedded heating elements for quick, efficient heating; one side is ribbed for grilling and the other side is flat for use as a griddle. The plates are removable for easy cleaning. The unit has five temperature settings: warm, low, medium, high, and sear. Audible alerts indicate when the grill is pre-heated and when it has reached the end of the cooking cycle. The back-lit LED display includes a 99 minute timer. The grill includes a grill rib cleaning tool, a clip-on condiment warming cup to warm butter, syrup or sauces while cooking, and two clip-on drip cups to capture draining grease and condensation.
