Make holiday or everyday cookies extra special with these durable cast aluminum cookie stamps. Simply roll your cookie dough into even balls, then gently press the stamp into the dough until the dough forms a circle; cookies can be left plain or add colour with royal icing, coloured sugars, or sprinkles. Use stamps with a variety of cookie doughs including shortbread, sugar, ginger, and peanut butter.
Apply a light coat of oil to each stamp using a pastry brush or nonstick spray. Reapply oil if cookie dough begins to stick to stamp. For best results, apply cookie stamps to room temperature dough. Cookie stamp impressions will not be as defined if using prepackaged cookie mixes or refrigerated dough.
