These rose petal cutters make it simple to create gorgeous gum paste and fondant roses. Each cutter produces five connected petal shapes. To create a rose, make a cone-shaped piece of gum paste or fondant as the centre of the rose, and allow to harden. Cut out small rose petals from gum paste or fondant; place the petals on a modelling pan and use a ball modelling tool to soften, thin, and ruffle the petal edges. Place the cone in the centre of the petals, and alternately position the petals against the cone (brush with water to adhere) to form the rose centre. Repeat with additional layers of petals to form the desired size of rose.
